Ph.D. on Biological indicators of water pollution. The Shannon Index of diversity as an indicator of water pollution was worked for the first time in the country on Benthic algal communities.  The Thesis has been published as a Book entitled Algal Indicators of Water Pollution. Post graduate in Plant Sciences.

Visited Netherlands, Germany, France, England, Scotland, Philippines and the United States under various programmes.

Researched, written the Script and Commentary for 05 films on environment and Nature Conservation in addition to directing three films including those on the Asian Elephant, filmed at Corbett, on the role of water on the breeding activities of wetland avian fauna, filmed at Bharatpur and on the natural history and ecology of the Asiatic Lions filmed at the Gir Forest.
