Pollution Control Boards not authorized to issue orders for Penalty and Compensation- The Honourable High Court Allahabad, Lucknow Bench.
The Honourable High Court, Luckow Bench has recently passed a Judgment on 17-07-2025 in WRIT – C No. – 4816 of 2024 where it has said at page 72 para 82 that the Pollution Control Boards cannot impose penalty and compensation. I have always been of this opinion.
